Yesterday I wanted to forward an email from my phone.. unfortunately I was on the text screen and the phone decided to freeze. I had to take out the battery and reboot the phone. In that time, I booted up my company laptop, connected into the VPN, and fired up Outlook/Exchange to get the email.
The TP2 really needed HD2 power to run decently. As it stands now, the phone is an embarrassment IMO.

This is exactly it...It doesn't matter which ROM I run, what tweaks I apply, etc etc, the TP2 is still slow and buggy...the only way to really make it faster is to disable Sense lol. Beyond the embarrassment as my phone being capable, but too slow to do anything, it's frustrating when I get lagged out of the most basic tasks, like replying to a text message.
If Sprint got the HD2 or if HTC made a TP2 with a Snapdragon or Hummingbird, I don't think I'd ever need another phone. The TP2 would be the ultimate phone if its hardware was up to par IMO.
