What about the sprint stores? Will they process the insurance claims for a nominal fee? Assurian can send me a hero all day long but it wont work on my plan.

I've never heard of a store processing an insurance claim through Asurion for you. Well, unless you have some hard head who acts like they have no clue what they're doing, then they might dial the number for them and get them on the line. Other than that, service centers just service them or if they can't, do service swaps if the phones in stock. Of course they won't do a swap if the screens cracked, or sensor shows solid.
