oh, dishe is the one with nothing significant to contribute, is he now? haha god i love (one-sided) flame wars...i was expecting an apology/intellectual-compromise-of-understanding post from boredandtattooed but seeing him/her keep this going and admirably try to salvage his/her honor is kind of funny.
lol i'm an occasional lurker on these forums and have no knowledge of any reputed members other than some mainstream chefs (e.g. MightMike, deck); so as a neutral outsider, if i had to pick sides, boredandtattooed is definitely the douche who lost this flame war, and ungracefully at that. if i may summarize my take on this battle....it was like...
an elder, legendary demi-god (probably ripped, shirtless, and displaying a flowing white beard) aka dishe, returning back to Earth after years of meditation, which have apparently supercharged his powers of helping lesser-ppcgeekers to greater degrees as his bold, refreshing challenge to chefs forum-wide is thanked, since his concern is one shared by many owners of tp2s; and now, he has granted these phones a second life by uniting all those who are frustrated by this common cause, struggling to stay awake as their phones flash tricolor after tricolor while the break of day trickles light into their rooms.
and then, boredandtattooed, an experienced ppcgeeker who has not yet experienced the grandeur of dishe who left his mark in the early years of the milky way, decides in an act of pride to assert himself over our bearded hero with his regurgitation of classial douche-mantra, supposedly teaching our teacher a lesson on being grateful. ironically ungrateful, if you ask me.
and then, even after dishe reveals himself in all his glory, boredandtattooed panics. in denial of what he has just experienced (i.e. pwnage to the most extreme of degrees), he dares, in an admirable display of courage, to take one more swing from his left arm (the one that is not gushing out arterial blood)...
to be continued.
that's what it was like. seriously, just because you don't cook roms doesn't mean you can't criticize them. that's nazi-speak. everyone appreciates the work of the hard work of chefs but it doesn't change the fact that i have still yet to flash a rom that after 2-3 weeks of use will not slow down to unbearably laggy speeds; also, one that doesn't look like a 10 year old's plastic toy (
ahemenergyrom
ahem...stable rom but aesthetically repulsive). i write this with all the peacelovehappinessrainbowsunicorns at heart...
but yeah, the point is i am SICK AND TIRED wasting time trying to flash a normal, functional phone. hopefully dishe's message gets across.
