Never hurts to ask nicely!

This is true.
i was denied, reason:you received all applicable discounts at time of purchase.(i only used my 75 dollar upgrade). However I also CHANGED MY PLAN from a retention plan to a family share plan. so I sent a written request via the rebate page and they responded with an apology and sent my rebate out to me. I also called into retentions at the same time i sent the written request, they applied a 50 dollar credit stating since i only upgraded i was not eligible. I didn't bother arguing the plan change with them since i had a feeling the rebate would get approved. hello 150 rebate....
If you used your upgrade to get the evo but were forced to change your plan, you should follow through if your rebate was declined. a new device along with a new 2 year agreement AND A PLAN CHANGE should = rebate eligible.
