I'm actually at the point now where I could use a bit of advice if you would be kind enough to share a bit of what you've learned.
I spent a good 20 hours this weekend going from no real knowledge of cooking a rom to having my own mostly working rom. It was a lot of trial and error, mostly error, until late Sunday when my first good build was done with the OEM's I wanted all loading. The process would have gone a bit faster if the ppcgeeks forums hadn't been down which forced me to use google cached pages to find a few bits of info.
Anyway, here's where I'm at now.
I'm using the vogue_kitchen_tools.rar which is DogGuy's kitchen modified for the Vogue. I ran prepit on no2chem's nuerom-v 107 clean rom to get my base build. Then I began collecting OEM's and created a couple of my own using OEMizer. After a couple rounds I got a workable rom.
That brings me to where I need some advice on how to proceed.
1. You said you're using a more stock rom that allows the ## codes to work. Can you be more specific and is it downloadable somewhere?
2. People talk about using various kitchen's but when I go looking for them I find they were built for the apache or titan. Do these all work for the vogue as well when you swap in no2chem's basekit or a prepit extracted set of folders base folders? This is part of the magic I don't fully understand yet.
Thanks
