Settings/Personal/Phone/CDMA Services/GPS - Get Settings/Location On --
Went back to Google Maps and after about 30 seconds, "Seeking GPS satellites (0)..." changed to "GPS active (4)"

Magically, the updated Bing for Verizon's Privacy Policy now actually loads. Pressed Accept. Validating Authorization Status flashed by and then Permission to Locate came up after accepting the ToS. Pressed Done to accept the default access time (24x7). Pressed Save at the Privacy Summary. Unless Bing uses triangulation as a fallback as well, I think the GPS is working in there too.
I'm not sure that this is working. I cannot use google maps as I have data disabled and bing "can't find gps module". I had already done the gps location on setting, but for some reason still can't get gps working. If I use GPSoneapp (or something like that) which is tucked away in the windows folder, I can acquire a location eventually. However, I can't for the life of me get iGo working with it as it can't seem to find which com port the gps is associated with.

Worked great on my touch pro. You guys sure it isn't using your data?

In b4 asking me how I don't pay for data/have it disabled. No need for it so it's gone from my life.
