This will help minimize the number of writes to the flash card, and I have found, is much faster than a defrag. (just trying to help, hope I don't sound like a know-it-all jerk)

Defrag is very fast on Windows 7, so scandisk and defrag using a card reader took a total of about 10 minutes, after wasting several hours over previous days before figuring out the memory card was having issues. Also, copying about 6gb back and forth between the pc and the card would have taken forever. Appreciate the suggestions, but think mine is quicker and also effective. Still running great, and kudos again to NRG.
