MicDroid - AutoTune App for Android

Found info on the Pocketnow website.

The developer thread is located here:

Video of app in use located here:

The “I am T-Pain” app for the iPhone, whether you’re a fan or not, has been a huge hit. The app has the ability to auto-tune and record your voice according to specific user settings. This allows users to dramatically modify the sound of their voice when singing or speaking. Unfortunately, the I am T-Pain app hasn’t made its way over to Android just yet. However, one Android developer decided to make his own auto-tune app and it’s called MicDroid.

The early version of MicDroid doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the I am T-Pain app, but it’s already showing a lot of promise. Currently, you can only record audio clips that get filtered through the app’s auto-tuner. Hopefully we’ll have the ability to distort the audio in real-time in the future. Watch the video below to see it in action and grab it for free from the Android Market (purchase the donation version for support).

(I have tested it on the evo and it works as advertised.)
