Re: Consumer Reports: iPhone 4 = Design Flaw
Last thing I'll say is this. When the first news came of the first Iphone, I was thrilled. I was sooo excited and was planning on getting it no matter what. But when I read through the specs and saw that it only operated on ATTs edge network, it had me confused. They are coming out with this powerhouse of a phone and it doesn't run on 3G? Doesn't have MMS either? And I remember Apples response, which I think was Steve Jobs. "Well, not having 3G is not a big issue cause there are so many WI-FI hotspots you really don't need it" . Which was far from the truth. Oh yeah, and ATT's plans were ridiculously higher than Sprints. I just could not bring myself to pay significantly more for a phone that to me had significant features missing. I'm not going to deny it does some great things, but yeah I'll say it, I do not like the way Apple tries to convince people what they think they need and don't need and how they try to hide the truth.
