Your best bet is to set exposure at -3 when taking close up pictures in dark environments w/ flash. It does help a bit. I think the LED flash for the camera is basically useless as it doesn't increase shutter speeds and even if you get a shot which isnt horribly overexposed, you get motion blur.

Basically, the camera is pretty useless in low light situations and it really irks me.
