Good to see you back and cooking. I know I said I would wait for your froyo release and ignore any new ROMS till then, Guess I lied.
I'm currently running 1.6 without any wimax radio update and do not want to risk breaking my SD card and usb port again as I had to go through recovery and adb to fix.
I'm running your rom (1.47.651.1 OMJ v1.6) with:
baseband version 1.36.00.04.02 ( tried flashing the new radio several times and got no where.
I have confirmed I get 4G.

PRL Version 60667
When I have the time I may do whitslack's update to get the wimax and wifi but it sounds like your new rom ver1.7 option 2 would be the best bet and least work.
Would you concur?

if you are running a 1.47.651.1 ROM, you really should have the updated radio....I would recommend anyone that has not already done so, to flash ALL the OTA updates, aka ROM1
