Well, the Radio flash can only be done by HTC/Sprint, so thats one good reason to anticipate an official release. The major thing though, as is with any device with proprietary hardware, DEVICE DRIVERS get updated by the manufacturer. PPC's aren't like normal PC's in the sense that we cannot just go to the manufacturers website for different hardware components and download up-to-date device drivers. Its a pick-fest between the carriers when a ROM is released to compile the best/newest drivers from each ROM into one fast stable build with the best components from each device. Sprint throws out a new ROM, device drivers
may have matured a bit, and we may see overall stability increases because of it.
In any case... its fun to have something to wish for/hope for. Like many times before though, nobody should hold their breath on this one - you may turn blue before Sprint delivers the Yellow.
