Im stuck at the second step where you renamed the pc36img. I already renamed it both and when i tried thru the android terminal and input the code and everything is fine until i go to the bootloader, it reads my sd and it reads the pc26img but then it changes back to the main menu of the boot loader!! it never start procesing the file!!! need help

I tried thru the pc also but it keeps doing the same thing...
The error you're getting means that you don't have a file called "PC36IMG.zip" on your sdcard.
I spent a lot of time trying to help someone else that had this same error.
In the end, it turned out he had downloaded the file "eng-PC36IMG.zip" then he went to rename it, and he typed "PC36IMG.zip" but, his pc does not show extensions for common files. When he downloaded the file, all he saw was "eng-PC36IMG" because the .zip doesn't show. When he renamed it "PC36IMG.zip" he really created a file called "PC36IMG.zip.zip" but he couldn't see the last .zip

I'm not sure how to change it on Win7 or Vista, but on WinXP,
My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View, there is an item that says "Hide extensions for known file types"
If you uncheck that box, you'll see the extensions for all common files (.zip .txt .mp3 .jpg)

Bottom line, you don't have to make the extensions show, just know that they are there. So in your case, you can just leave the .zip extension hidden and rename the file "PC36IMG"

Can someone host the correct file for download. I'm stuck at that point. Well, not stuck perse, but would like to finish up my root process.
Page works for me. I'll try to get it uploaded somewhere else tonight to offer a mirror.

Kept getting errors but kept going cuz I didn't know what would happen if I just stopped halfway through. Did the little adb check thingy again, and still a $ instead of a #.

I guess I just flashed the supposedly already rooted 1.47.651.1 in hopes it would fix everything but it didn't, I checked to see if I had full root and I didn't. And I think I lost my pt 1 root too because none of my apps that need root will work and most of them aren't showing up in the market for me to reinstall.

I can't flash into recovery either...the screen just turns to /i\ and is stuck. The only way for me to get it out of that screen is to take the battery off.

Also my build # showing in my system info now is 1.32.651.1 CL171253 test-keys

I have not been asleep in more than 24 hrs now cuz I cant figure out what the hec is wrong & get my phone back to normal
If you're on 1.32.651.1, you should flash the Signed_Shipped version of the 1.32.651.1 rom and start over. That would clear up any lingering issues. I know it's frustrating to be stuck, but I'm sure it just something simple that's being overlooked. I've flashed back to a unrooted 1.32.651.1 tons of times because I didn't feel like trying to figure out what I missed.
Here's the link to the Signed_Shipped_Rom - http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Supe...ase_171253.exe

It downloaded a 124mb file. Strange. Check your file size.
Perhaps someone could supply another mirror. I can't get this file from either posted sources today.
Good point, which is why I included a picture of the files on the sdcard. So people could verify that they have the right files w/ the right size.
After I saw you post that you couldn't get the file, I clicked the link and downloaded it just fine. As I mentioned above, I'll try to provide a mirror when I get home tonight.
