It should be as easy as just soldering two wires to the + and - PIXI charging back and making a connection on your + and - on the battery. If you use a small enough gauge wire you should be able to just insert the bare ends of the wires before the battery is fully inserted.
Same thing for the TP2, as the batteries used are the same ones in the EVO.

So the overload protection is in the battery, not between the usb port and the battery terminals? (thought that was why you needed to solder to the phone and not just insert the wires into the battery connection)
Also, anyone have the pin outs for the battery? I have a pixi back, a touchstone, an evo, and assorted wire and soldering iron in front of me (ok behind me since the kb is in front of me right now) and I am ready to go.
