when you pay sprint's 30 buck monthly fee for the hot spot feature, you can tether wired or wirelessly. or, you can download pdanet or another one that I can't remember the name of right now for free and wired tether. however, when they expire you can't go to secure sites any more, only nonsecure ones. or, you can pay a one time fee for either one and wired tether and go to all sites indefinitely. I paid for pdanet and haven't had a prob the little bit I've used it. it works on 3g and 4g. you do have to download part of it to your computer along with the app on the phone.
