no wifi icon, no wifi
just got the evo - i can't connect to wifi. when i enable wifi i expect a wifi icon to appear at the top with the rest of the icons but i don't see anything. then, when i attempt to connect to my wifi router i type the password hit connect and the evo's wifi says "disconnected". Any ideas? the wifi router i'm attempting to connect to is a Netgear RangeMax Wireless N. My android version is firmware 2.1-update1, build 1.32.651.6.
would rooting the phone and running some app fix it? or is it that the phone doesn't support WiFi N?
