Uh.............no! Even when I first got the phone I didn't notice any lag....just random reboots! The only time my phone lags is when getting an incoming call, if my phone is trying to send random data to Google or wherever it sends it to randomly..........or if I have a lot of programs running in the background.......other than that I'm straight!
2D games (depending on how 2D they are) can run between 15fps to 23fps and be overly fine! If its some kind of side scrolling game like Final Fight than yeah you don't need that many fps...........but games like Marvel vs Capcom even run in the teens or low 20's from some benchmarks that I've seen.....and that was on a console system! I have SF4 on my PC and it runs at about 24fps with no hiccups at all!
But I will try that hack though.......thanks for mentioning that Squabbles!
