I was able to successfully set up the mailbox (as far as I can tell) but her calendar and mail didn't sync up. We tried this over-the-air. I also suggested she could try using active-sync to get it set up from her computer.

We have seen certificate problems with our Exchange Server 2007 and WinMo devices as well. If that is the case, could anyone let me know if a verisign root certificate comes installed with verizon's stock rom? does anyone have experience installing one? I'm assuming I can just go to https://www.verisign.com/support/roots.html and get what I need if it isn't?

thanks for the help in advance.
Try giving this a run from your device, Exchange 2007 servers are kinda lame and require you to modify some security policies.
