Mine sometimes would only be recognized through bluetooth and not through the usb cable. For the kitchen, when you extracted all the files to one place look for the file that looks like a chef, kinda hard to see but right click on that, then "run as administrator" it has worked now 4 to 5 times now, as i have flashed my phone that many times with the helmi's kitchen and vista 32 bit
