I have personally never gotten the SOD (knocks on wood & now waits for the SOD, lol). However, I tend to do quite a bit of mod trial and error (alot now that I am working on programming for the Rhodium and learning as I go) and this had let to a good ammount of soft (and hard) resets.

I will certainly agree that the soft-reset button is in a piss poor spot. At the very least, there could have already been A hole in the battery cover for easy access to the button. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes when it comes to the TP3.
