Since the Swype beta is not open right now and I can't find a working version for android, I stumbled across another keyboard similar to Swype. It's called SlideIT

Can be found in the android market by looking for "SlideIT" .. my wife tried to search for "SlideIT keyboard" and found a bunch of skins and stuff but couldn't find the keyboard itself.
