One of the biggest selling points for me was the apple resale market. I know that 6-9 months from now when the market is flooded with android and WC7 tablets, that I can sell this iPad if I want for at least 90% of what I paid. I don't know why it's like that, but especially with the prolonged shortage of the iPad and the fact that the 16 gb wifi ipads are selling on craigslist and ebay right now for 100 over retail, it's basically ensured that when the time comes to upgrade or move on, maybe even to the iPad 2, that I'll essentially get all my money back.
