Re: |IMAGIO|¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-* Energy *|Jun 22| 21907|23569 -.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯ MaxSens

Thanks a lot from this newbie for this wonderful ROM!! I installed the June 29 Dinik ROM and have some questions for which I haven't been able to find answers in this thread. Hope this is the right forum for these questions since I don't know if these questions are specific to this ROM or would apply to all ROMs

1. When I create a new contact or SMS and click inside a field, the keyboard pops up. I can hide and reveal the keyboard by tapping on the keyboard icon at the bottom center of the screen. If I press and hold the icon, it comes up with a menu for text input settings, etc. However, in other applications like task list, etc., I am unable to hide the keyboard. Tapping or holding the keyboard icon always brings up the menu and does not minimize the keyboard. How do I get the ability to hide and reveal the keyboard in every application? In the stock ROM, there used to be a small triangle next to the keyboard icon tapping which would maximize and minimize this icon.

2. Is there a list of all the applications in this ROM? Are old versions of the ROM saved somewhere just in case I need to go back to an old one? This is my first WM phone and a big jump in technologies (upgraded to Imagio from a Motorola z6c!) and I am still trying to figure out all the different apps that are installed and what they do. It will be nice to have a list somewhere to refer to.

3. Every time I update the ROM when a new version comes out, will I lose all the info saved on the phone (contact lists, SMS, documents, settings, etc)? If so could someone please let me know what all needs to be saved and how? I understand that the registry needs to be backed up and so do the settings, and data but is there a program already on the phone that does it all and restores the phone to how it was before? I have located the PIM Backup application in the tool folder. Would that back everything up or do I need another program for backing up the registry, etc?

4. Plus code dialing does not seem to work with this ROM. Since I plan to be traveling abroad with this phone, I had all the numbers in the format +<country code> <area code> <phone number> and it was working fine calling U.S. numbers from the U.S. in the stock ROM. However, after flashing the ROM, numbers with the plus code do not get connected. I am able to connect if dialed in the form <area code> <phone number>. I have found registry hacks to set the PlusCodeNumber and ResetNumber to 011 but doubt if it will work in another country without resetting the 011 to what is required in that country. Is there an option in this ROM that I am missing?

Thanks!
