Are you in a 4G area? Is 4G on or scanning? Do you have Tell Me When a 4G Signal is Available selected? (Under 4G settings) I ASSUME that last one would drink some batt juice searching for a signal.
I'm noticing great battery life with the updated radio and system files, I'm using it more and more so I dont have anything but empirical data.
Double check your all your sync-type setting and make sure nothing got switched ON that was previously OFF.
Google Talk is blamed frequently for being a batt vampire, gotta SIGN OUT, not just close.
I think my battery life is better since I turned GPS and Sync back on. I was drinking the Kool Aid and turned them off till I needed them. Then I read the theory that the apps searching for those services was actually a worse battery drain.

Please dont let this start a thread hijack on battery talk

EDIT: Did you update your PRL after flashing the new radio?
What ROM are you on? Did you update just the radio? The newest radio is designed to run with the latest software. So for example if you are a ROM prior to 1.6 but flash the newest radio it may cause issues.
