sure it will last two years and work just fine for you. the tp2 is a nice phone although a little big for me. hell people are still using moguls so tp2 should be good for awhile yet lol.
I would look at getting one after the galaxy pro comes out... thats when a lot of the tp2 holdouts will finally move over to android. should be a buyers market
