The error message is on the computer i had to restore to a OS4 ipsw but i still have the old bootrom. I have not been able to jailbreak like other instructions around the web state so I am basically just waiting for an easier way to jailbreak it when released.
I have found articles stating that the iphone 4 was jailbroken already a similar way to how spirit works so I am assuming they are getting closer to actually releasing a jailbreak.
