flipz, the fact that you made it upgradedable via fresh updater from .5.2 to .5.3 is friggin' awsome! worked perfect, thanks man!
the only problem was that when i rebooted into recovery via the fresh updater, i get the yellow exclamation point. no prob though, just booted into recovery manually and installed the download that way.
