Re: HD2 I'm not sold...
wow, so much negativity for the best winmo phone to date.
My observations after a weekend on the HD2:
1. Blazing fast. It downloads emails and RSS feeds at least 5 times faster than my TP2
2. T-Mobile Access: When you have it, it is really fast here in san antonio, way faster than sprint. I don't have signal everywhere in the hospital like I did before, but the most usual places for me are good and at home I have full signal. Not to mention San Antonio is on the list to have HSPA+ by the end of the year (though I think it might be much sooner)
3. No Keyboard. It does take awhile to get used to. I am trying swype which is easier than I thought and doesn't lag on this phone. I think I will get used to it.
4. Camera is much improved over tp2, with double flash, you can take pics everywhere.
5. T-Mobile customer service has been excellent. Sprint refused to let me have a 3rd line due to past bankruptcy even though I've been with them for 8 years. That is what made me jump. Paying for cricket for my son just didn't make sense. Plan is a little pricier (about 20.00, mainly due to no corp disc.), but the EVO would have increased my bill anyways.
6. Watching transformers is great. I don't know what you saw OP, but it's "HD" for the screen. No pixelating or lag or buffering.
Overall the only negatives I see are the lack of hardware keyboard and for some, t-mobile service.
Your best selling point might be that t-mobile doesn't have the coverage that sprint does.
