I've got the Amazon version and my phone fell out of my shirt pocket last night. Fell 3+ ft onto concrete landing on a corner of the case and then bounced down 2 steps. Ended up with a little scrape on the corner of the exoskeleton that hit first but no damage to the phone at all. It might have been OK without the case (doubt it) but I like thinking that $25 saved me a $100 deductible.
