This thread is absurd and it's bringing out a lot of paranoia in people. Sprint definitely does not have access to our market downloads, but Google does, since it's there market. WinMo, Google, and Apple all have the ability to remotely delete apps if they need to. The article in question mentions the ONLY time google has used this ability. The app was already removed from the marketplace, so they were just cleaning up loose ends. If they were to find that they helped distribute a harmful piece of software, they could help by removing it from everyone's devices. I think as long as that ability is used wisely, it can be a good thing.
