I have an 002, the screen has no purple tint and the colors are great imo...the only time it seems to have any off tint on the white is at less than full brightness... There is a slight yellow tint at that point but it is not bad, go do it to your laptop or desktop lcd. That will be the case for any lcd under its full brightness.

The only other way I could think of compensating is if there were a color temp setting.

I do like being able to adjust displays for max comfort or for color matching seems these big displays should be coming with those options in the settings now.

Mine also has an elevated power button.

Edit: actually after really paying attention my whites are really white except for text fields such as where I am typing this...
