I see the issue. You have a demo account, not a 3rd party employee account. Those are highly coveted and also limited to authorized agent resellers. They are identical to what a Sprint employee gets. Because they're managed through the indirect channel rep, they probably have no way of affecting any changes on your account.

You could use any 3G phone, Android included. It's the 4G add on that doesn't exist yet till the moratorium expires. Those demo accounts are probably frozen out of the new phones as long as Sprint employees are. I don't mean to dash your hopes but unless you have the contact for the Sprint indirect rep in your area, you're SOL.
