Re: Touchscreen capability is gone
The more people jive in on this topic the more hopeful I get as I am discovering more options on getting a fix for this phone.
Mojary I bought this phone within two-four weeks when the phone came available. It seems like I have this phone for a long time now. I did not know anything about TEP (Total Equipment Protection) plan, so I do not have that. So does this bring my hopes down?
I'd like to get a replacement like a couple of people have mentioned here before. So I would go to a Sprint repair store or call them up, tell them about the black dot and screen being unresponsive, they decide to send a replacement, I get the replacement in the mail, I ship the old phone back and everything is okay? And that is without having TEP... Is it and will it be simple as that? Although I don't have TEP, I am on their Sprint Premiere program.
Buying parts online and repairing the phone myself is my last option as I have no experience in repairing phones.
