Did it in terminal on the phone as well. No need to install anything

Go to Terminal
Type in 'su', hit Enter (not sure if it's required, but I did it)
type in 'dmesg > /sdcard/info.txt' and hit Enter
Connect phone to USB cable, open info.txt in notepad, and search for epson or nova.

Got Epson!
