Hm, never even noticed this. Looks to be happening on both the cookie/no cookies ROMs, so has to be something with the sys. Do you know if it worked before 1.8? The one thing that could be causing it is Kimi's people messaging mod, and I added that in 1.8.

EDIT: Also possible that the updated HTCScroll got rid of it. I'll be cooking another ROM soon reverting to the told HTCScroll to see what happens.
It worked on 1.7 and 1.8 as far as I remember.
