there's a cab floating around that does this, but i'm not at home to pull it up for you.
just edit your registry as follows:
Go to "HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu" and set "EnableManilaStartMenu" to a value of dword:00000000
Then go to "HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila" and grant "Manila://programs.page.hidden" a value of dword:00000000
