fastboot is a program in the Adroid sdk just like adb

So open a command window
Start
Run...
cmd
cd\
C: Now at the c prompt you need to type the path to your sdk. For me I type android-sdk-windows\tools\fastboot etc
This is because I put the android-sdk-files directly on my C drive. Your path may differ slightly.
I tried to run the command on my computer but it didnt work-most likely because there is nothing wrong with my sd card.

Greatly appreciated. I'll make sure to get this all setup in case theres a next time. While I was waiting for someone to bail me out (thank you again), I started flipping through thread pages aimlessly. There was a post that gave a fix for it. I was rackin my brain all that time trying to figure it out, when all I had to do was take the battery out for 60 seconds. Thats what I get for not searching thoroughly.
