Yes the device may take more then a few miliseconds to wake up still on rare cases if its busy, say maybe 1 second instead of immediately but it will not freeze in a sleeping state with this driver patched to an older version.

Hey mr.x, this speculation of the the htcservices dll came up a couple months ago and ziggy made a cab to replace it. mike also cooked it into his rom. Is this the same or different from your findings?
