It ALWAYS comes down to YOU and how YOU use your phone. I want to USE my phone, but I am sensible enough to configure it to ration my power conservatively by default and still allow me to spend battery life like Congress spends tax dollars when I want to geek out and show off to friends.

while agree that it's up to the user and some users abuse the freedom they have.... the new iPhone is going to blow all other smartphones out with battery life
. the good thing is that this will help push htc and other manufacturers to develop better life for our devices.
