OK, lamen's question: Using Resco Explorer, I can choose to show hidden files, file extensions, etc., then locate the htcservices.dll file in the Windows folder. If it's simply a hidden driver file, couldn't I simply replace the entire .dll file with the older version (or the version you are using in your ROM)? What's involved with "cooking" it into the ROM? I just don't understand and was hoping someone could enlighten me with a little ROM cooking 101.

So one time... over... and over... and over again?
Just kidding, of course. My hat is off to anyone who puts their time and effort into improving the user experience with these wonderful (and somtimes frustrating) little devices.
