During that time I switched to an unlocked version of the software so I would not have to wait the 2 days to get a new activation key every time I reloaded a new rom on a phone.

Now I finally upgrade to a Sprint EVO and I discover that I will have to pay $30 again to be able to attempt to use slingplayer mobile with Android.

So, what do I do..... I purchase it for $30 from the Marketplace and install it. Considering the time that I used my win mobile license and the fact that I could have stuck it out with the TP2 for quite a bit longer, I see no reason to blame the Slingbox manufacturers for recouping development cost on the android platform or for them to make money.

IMHO Nuff said !!
Exactly my thoughts. I have been slinging for years on many different winmo phones so its really no big deal to me to spend the money on the android version.
