Its 4AM too. Seeing as I'm such an optimist, I wanted to try it when the network wasn't possibly flooded. I'm going to try the sim in a different leo.. Thats right. I have two of them

I'd honestly stop testing lol. It sounds like T-Mobile isn't the greatest in your area. And that's what it's all about, finding out who has the best service in your area.
Even for me, some areas around here are dead zones. Foruntetally for me T-Mobile is great in general, but I live in the Boston area, not far from the water at all. And the closer I get to the beaches south of Boston I slowly start to loose HSDPA (in the city is always perfect, even in the harbor), and by the time I get to the beach I have shit data service. Voice I almost never loose, rarely I'll loose signal for a couple seconds while I'm on the beach or out on the boat a little offshore, but even then I can usually get voice service (and then I have a sat phone / TV and CB radio on my boat so I wont be stranded lol)
If you're getting speeds that slow I doubt you'll see much improvement in your area for about a year unfortunately. (oh and if you're not using google chrome then you need to re-test. Firefox and everything else is about half the speed if not worse, when compared to chrome)
