You COULD reflash a ROM but that'd be a pita imo. Nand backup/restore is the way to go.
If you are using Stock ROM, make sure you are using the rooted Stock ROM. Dont root and stay on the original ROM, very good chance of headaches.
If you are on non-rooted stock, I'd flash rooted stock, set THAT up, THEN run the Nand backup.

Hmm so if there is a stock rooted rom to get rooted why are people doing it the hard way with cmd codes?
and who makes a good rooted stock? and after rooted stock is used you can nada backup and load hacked rom?
