Am I the only one that doesn't really see the point in this? Assuming the Evo can actually handle the ~8MB/s throughput cap on the 100Mbit connection, what files are you going to be transferring that you need the bandwidth for, that you wouldn't just hook up to USB to do?

IMO it's just a battery waste... We don't have 100Mbit internet connections yet, so the only use for it would be file transfer, which would still be faster over USB.

You SHOULD have to have root user permissions to modify the system files. I don't see any mention in the post though.
