I will chime in and say that I love the way 6.1 runs, but the newer version of PIE kills me. It forced me to finally load a java emulator and opera. I should have done that from the start!
Phone is awesome, data works flawlessly and all the stock apps and UI seem to be light years ahead of stock roms. I don't have any plugins loaded, and my RAM will stay at 19-20 megs all day if I close apps.
I would recommend it to anyone.
BTW, running DCD's 2.2.6 rom now, with only 1 memory regedit (GDI/Glyphcache/3276
and it just flies. It impressed my I-phone buddies with the capabilities
