When you create an APN with MNC of 00, it is immediately disabled, as the reported MNC of the device is 995. (This is a hack for cdma devices, as they have no actual MNC.) At least, that's how I understand it to work. I'd be curious to hear if this works for other cricket users, because, if so, something strange is going on.

If other Cricket users try this, and it doesn't work, it'd be worth trying it again, but with an MNC of 995. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it works.
