I honestly think you have corrupted the wallpaper function, from mods you had installed previously.
The HQwallpaper patch was not needed for the last version of CHT either.
I'm almost positive, a hard reset and fresh install would fix your issues you have created. But I know that is not always what everyone wants to do.
I always feel better knowing that my problems were not the cause of something I did, before reporting it as a bug or issue with a certain app or mod though. So I always hard reset if things are not working as they should.

thanks. I'm thinking something is corrupted also. i have hdwalls installed on phone, but it is not selected in the CHT editor to use. I have the editor selected to use HQ wallpaper. As I type this I will be removing hdwalls completely.
