1+2. No push internet cab and opera close cab should have done the same thing and shouldn't be needed in 6.5. (I don't think they carried this over).
3. Net 3.5 should already be installed as part of 6.5
Most of the cabs should work, but it will be trial and error. Best thing to do is to install a cab, soft reset and run the program to check out. If the phone does anything funny, then uninstall.
