Re: Ringtones directory
I converted the old Buzzer_Loud.wav (great for an "alarming" alarm) to an mp3 on my PC, emailed it to myself, saved to SD Card (goes to Downloads by default, found that my SD card already had sd\media\audio with a notifications sub-directory under that. I added an alarms directory, copied the buzzer file over, open my alarm clock, and it was already there. I know I hadn't created the sd\media\audio\notifications folder (unless something I installed did), because the only file in there was some Facebook file, and I know more about 8-track tapes than I do about Facebook.
So the OS apparently reads in parallel from the main memory and the SD card for such files.
