Modem Link (aka WModem) is a tethering program Verizon includes on the TP2 that is meant to be used with the VZAcess Manager software and a tethering plan that you pay for. The InternetSharing program is what most of us use for your normal usb tethering. It's free tethering after the tethering fix is installed. It does not require any software on Vista or 7 machine, but does require Microsoft Activesync if using XP or older machine.
